How to Install gearman software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

gearman software package provides Distributed job queue, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gearman

gearman is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gearman package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gearman *

You will get with gearman package name, version, architecture and description in a table
